Another local buy and one of the best chests of it’s type I have offered for sale to date.

 A Victorian Flame mahogany chest of drawers the heavy moulded serpentine top above full width freeze drawer. There is a central hat drawer, to the left a foe double drawer (looks like two drawers but is really one deep drawer) and the right two small drawers, below there are three graduating full width drawers all constructed with fine hand cut dovetails, each drawer has turned knobs. There are carved berry and acanthus leaf scrolling corbels the chest is raised on turned legs.
