French Spelter Art Nouveau mantle clock

A beautiful French Spelter Art Nouveau mantle clock, “Maiden at the spring”.  The figure and clock case have been had coloured to a bronzed finish.  The pools of spring water are pieces of marble set into the base.  The clock has an eight day movement that strikes on a bell.  The enamelled dial is hand painted with sprays of flowers.  The back plate is stamped by the maker AD. Mougin.
